Terry Wildeman

terry_bioTerry “POPPA T” Wildeman grew up in the shadow of Asbury Park during the 60’s and 70’s. He bought his first guitar at the age of 13, a 69 Fender Telecaster for $125 from “The Turntable” a record store/head shop on Brighton Ave in West End. It took all the money he earned from his summer job at a beach club in 1973 to get it. He knew when he brought it home he would be playing guitar for the rest of his life. He and a few buddies started a band “Beaver Street” that played at local house party’s and later small clubs like Tudor Square and the Deal Pub. Later he joined up with the drummer from Beaver Street in a southern rock and Grateful Dead jam band known as “The Thunder Mountain Band”. “TMB” as they became known, bought a used ambulance to carry the bands equipment and toured the Jersey Shore bar circuit from the Highlands down to LBI during the late seventies and early eighties. Timepiece was formed in 1990 when Drummer Fred DeFeo and Terry met at one of Fred’s gigs with a fifties band. The guitar player couldn’t make the show and Terry filled in. Fred and Terry have been rockin together ever since.
